August.  Still out of MWRD work another 30++ days.  I guess I’m really going to get this whole summer off.  Went and applied for Illinois Public Aid and SNAP food card benefits.  1 hour and 15 minutes later I was accepted.  Now on Obama Care, a better BCBS IL Insurance plan for Doctor, Dental and RX then I had at my MWRD work.  I get everything for FREE on Medicaid,  no co pays.  My BCBS work plan had me paying $20 per RX and $25 per each doctor visit.  Dental was on a  sliding scale depending on what was done. So I went to the Dentist, for FREE, 1st time in like 10 years.   Now I also get $197 a month to spend on food, at Aldi’s that way more than enough.  Dayton spent his first overnight time with me in over 2 years.  As per our Divorce Decree  I get up to 3 weeks of uninterrupted, non consecutive vacation time with Dayton.  So he came over here and spent a couple weeks with me in August before he went back to school.  Had him mow the lawn, 1st time he’d ever done that, needs to work on his over laps.  Emily also turned 19 , it’s her LAST YEAR as a teenager.  A family fact;  next year when Dayton turns 13 on May 2, both my children will be teenagers at the same time for a little over 3 months.  I can’t wait to have 2 kid teenagers at the same time.   And of course, yes Emily did come by to see me with BF Scott in tow, to get her birthday present.

September.  Still out of work, another 30+ days at least.  No Dayton visits or have heard from Emily this month.  Went alone to the Local 9 Union work picnic, but other than that nothing to exciting happened this month; except for those GREAT DEALs I got on the 26th,  for $250 worth of clearance men’s work shorts at the Broadview Target store.  Can’t wait to wear them out next summer.
